Champagne POMMERY Grand Cru vintage 1998.

The vintage Brut is the expression of a single beautiful year. Using only Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the vintage Brut is a refined blend composed solely of the seven (100% grands crus) crus constituting our vineyard. The finesse and elegance of the "Grands Crus" are enhanced by an especially long aging period -more than four years- in our cellars. Thus the vintage Brut attains that rich fullness to which only a wine of noble origins can inspire. To appreciate the complex character of this wine, serve it at table! Nothing else will set it off so beautifully!

House of champagne POMMERY.
A l'aube de 1836, la future Maison Pommery voit le jour, créée par Narcisse Greno.
Vingt ans après, Monsieur Pommery le rejoint, Henri Vasnier devenant le financier de la Maison.
Suite au décès prématuré de Monsieur Pommery, son épouse, Jeanne-Alexandrine Louise prend la direction de l'établissement en 1858.
En 1868, Louise Pommery entreprend l’ambitieuse édification du Domaine que l’on connaît aujourd’hui ; une œuvre d’envergure qui s’achèvera en 1888.
Mais c'est en 1874 que la " Révolution Pommery " s’opère : le Brut Nature est créé ; symbole fort de l’identité de notre Maison.
En 2002, la société Vranken Monopole intègre la Maison Pommery à son Groupe.
